Following up on our successful launch event, where we identified issues young people wanted to address, we are hosting a day to explore our relationship with the police . We shall hear from West Yorkshires Deputy Mayor – Alison Lowe the WY Police and Crime Commissioner, there will be a workshop from the Office of Police Conduct, and you will learn how you can contribute to the Police Race Action Plan Improving policing for Black people.

we shall also be joined on the day by the Chair of hte #blackcurriculm campaign.

The event is open to any Black, Brown or other minority ethnic young person aged 11 +, living in Yorkshire and the Humber. If you are coming independently and are under 18, eg with out an adult , please let us know so we can discuss arrangements – such as consent and covering travel costs.
